youth is not a time of life – it is a state of mind,
it is a temper of the will,
a quality of the imagination,
a vigor of the emotions,
a predominance of courage over timidity,
of the appetite for adventure over love of ease.
– from the poem YOUTH by samuel ullman
photos by lulu and just in case someone asks – the turtleneck is old from zara, the skirt is ridiculously old from old navy and the earrings & blush pumps are old from j.crew and I apologize for being zero help.
if I have any wisdom to impart at the age of 46 it is this: when thumbing thru sales and you find a versatile top for $18, classic skirt for $10, neutral suede pumps for $50 and fabulous earrings for $20 you buy them. you always, ALWAYS buy them.
PS – this is what 45 looked like
